Mary Kay DeMaris-Bougie, MM Piano / Voice

5980_103715612897_909564_nMary Kay DeMaris-Bougie has been a voice and piano instructor for 25 years. Currently she teaches Applied Voice and Elementary Music Methods courses at both MNSU, Mankato and SMSU, Marshall as an adjunct music faculty member. She also musically instructs junior high and high school students, preparing them for musicals, talent shows, and competitions.

Ms. DeMaris-Bougie received her undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College, Northfield. Her Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting came from MNSU. She has taught at all levels, including 18 years as a high school choral music director and musical theater vocal director. She is a published choral composer (Early One Morning, Pavane Publishing, P1405 – SATB), an active church musician, accompanist/pianist, vocalist, and violinist.
